Chinese Coat – Zhong Shan Zhuang

If western people think about chinas clothes, they probably instantly have the very common red or yellow dresses in mind. But there is more to china then the original 5th dynasty kimonos. There is also the “Zhong Shan Zhuang” coat invented from former president „Zhong Shan“ who lead china during the korean war. It just was completely removed from the chinese fashion market, but became again popular with celebrity Jet Li, pushing it for the company 7 Brand. I did like it before the movie with Jet Li became successful and now there seems to be the perfect time to buy it. But except for a small shop in Shanghai, where you could get it for a mere 6000㟶 (about 600€), there was no place where you can find it. So even with 7 Brand pushing it with this nice advertisement:


it was hard for me to get one. So I will wait for the next time I visit Shanghai ;)…
